Jacquie Rogers

Jacquie loves trying new things - mainly painting in acrylics (collaging with paper and fabric, and anything else that catches her eye) she has also used oil, watercolour, encaustic, ink, as well as doing linocut printing.  Her passions are colour rather than line, striving for balance and harmony.

She recently joined the Hastings Valley Fine Art Association Wednesday Painters in Laurieton. Before moving to Lake Cathie she had been a long standing active member of the Artists Society of Canberra while also painting and exhibiting yearly with the Tin Shed Art Group and with the ASOC Contemporary Friday group at the CSIRO Discovery Centre.

Jacquie’s works now reflect the environment of the Hastings – the settlements, rivers and seaside, parks and gardens, and more recently the impacts of drought and fire.
